Luna...again.... and again she looks really nice. I really like what I did in here. I discovered so many new things, that will allow me to paint a bit better in the future.
First picture out of 6 that will show ADULT Team Awesome AFTER the war. There is one easter egg in this picture. To find it you will have to pay close attention to my other works (all of them)
As always HUG FROM ME AND TEAM AWESOME FOR FAVING THIS PICTURE
I really liked the idea you had here, and the lighting is really good and blends very well with the overall mood and coloring. Good job with the detailing on the castle as well. The only thing i would comment on is the shape of her face. It's shaped like a profile but it's more 3/4 ? It would also be nice to see a little more shine in her wings, as they're softer feathers. But overall, i really liked this, with the scene, emotion, etc. You captured her character very well, and i look forward to seeing more like this.
Fear not, my trip to the midwest is almost over and I will be flying home tommarrow afternoon. Fortunately its the weekend, so I will have time to get caught up on everything you've been up to for the past two and a half weeks.
Examining this picture, I must comment that I don't think this particular art style does Luna justice. For starters the entire thing is heavily shaded which means that a lot of details in her armour/jewelry go unnoticed or are difficult to see. Her face also looks a bit off, but thats purely because of the angle you've chosen to draw her at which isn't commonly used in the show. The way her eyes line up makes her seem cross-eyed like Derpy.
What I do like about it though is the idea of designing a new outfit for Luna that's a bit more glorious then her regular attire. Perhaps you could attempt to do the same with Dream and Celestia? I personally think you should experiment with dresses and/or cloaks to see what images you can generate.
(I don't know enough to write an actual critique, so I'll leave it as a comment) I thought this picture was beautiful when I first saw it, but the longer I stared at it, the more I saw. I love the way you drew the mane and the garden around her, but I have just a couple issues. Her mouth seems just a bit off, and I think her eyes are derping just a tad. Also, I couldn't really tell what you were trying to do with the necklace/chest piece. Other than that I loved the picture. The overall effect was beautiful.
Vision: It's very detailed, and I love the colors. It's very refined in this category.
Originality: This isn't the first time I've seen Luna wear gorgeous jewelry and stand in the middle of the night, but not like this.
Technique: Your new style of drawing is a combination between your old and JohnJosece's style. I love it.
Impact: My eyes widened and my jaw dropped when I saw this. It's that beautiful.
Overall: 4.5/5 All hail to the magnificent Luna, Princess of the Night!
